Moncada has a .384 OBP vs RHP. He absolutely should be batting in front of the sluggers.

I am so old I remember when the Sox couldn't draft and develop position players.

Reylo pushing 99 is something right there.

That was a nasty high fastball by ReyLo on that k.

X2. Did it again to end the inning.

Lopez generating lots of swing and miss. What a nice comeback season it’s been for him

On the list of unlikely season saviors - Rodon, April Yermin, Vaughn, Goodwin, Sheets - I think ReyLo may be the most unlikely.

Without question, yes.

I still tend to think a non tender and sign might be more likely

Is it crazy to think both Kopech and Reylo are the 2 starters to replace Rodon and Keuchel next season?

His stuff, results, and peripherals have all been excellent in the majors leagues. If he were to get non tendered someone would give him at least 2x what he'd receive in arb.

Leury on fire!!!

no way, he may be in the rotation if/when Rodon signs elsewhere. Heck we may need to go 6 man rotation anyway with Kopech having innings limited.

Yeah. You got to tender him. Depth rotation guy and his stuff plays so well as a pen piece (worse case). I still like him more out of pen vs starter but good to have the flexibility during a long season.

Sheets doesn’t seem like he wants to win a division title today lol.

6th or 7th starter and mixing his innings between starting & the pen seems like a perfect use for him. There's minimal pitching depth in the upper minors, too. He'll be a critical guy for this team next season.

You just have to hit to outfield today and it’s going to carry.

You know it's a good day for the offense when even Cesar is hitting the ball hard

I'm sure this is enough to put everyone's mind at ease

But I was told by the soxtalk experts that we've been a mediocre all 2nd half and have no hope for the playoffs and Eloy forgot how to hit?

Has lopez done enough to get tendered?

lol, yeah, without even a second thought.

For a guy hitting .174 Hedges seems to always get hits when I watch.

Seems like Hedges only hits the Sox

That was a good at-bat. Tons of foul balls, was right on the fastball, laid off the sliders low and away. 3-2 could've been better located but with a big lead don't walk anyone.

Lol.  I had therapy at 1pm ET and spent a fair amount of my session talking about my anxiety with the White Sox and how about how watching their recent poor play was making me feel down.  I didn't check my phone till the session ended and I was like holy shit the White Sox are winning by a lot.

Bottom line: Therapy works.  What a breakthrough.

Sitting fastball there.

He laid off all the off-speed stuff. That 2-2 pitch they threw him was really good and he managed to lay off.

Right now? No.
