If the worst happens and one of them must start/pitch in the playoffs, Lopez over Keuchel should be an easy call

  • Man it's like clockwork when Harold hypes up a guy and he just shits the bed.

  • God imagine this post before he got called up.

  • We punted too many games and then we left it in the hands of others to help us with HFA.  It’s a losing proposition.

The 2-seed would be great, but chances are the Astros will win 2 and the Sox will lose 1 before Saturday’s games are over. If we have a shot Sunday morning, then get excited.

Is Reynaldo's resurgence maybe the most shocking aspect of this very strange season?

It's Yermin.  Rodon and ReyLo both had top of the rotation stuff, but couldn't quite get it. Yermin came out and supernova'd.

123 3rd for ReyLo

He's in this very in between phase where he's really good for 3-4 innings but really struggles going longer. Hard to make a full time starter out of him yet you feel like you're wasting him as a reliever.

Friedl is a great story.  He finished his sophmore season at the Univ of Nevada and played the summer with Team USA and absolutely tore it up.  No one ever checked but he was a draft eligible sophomore. The Reds had a bunch of left over money and signed him for $700k as an undrafted free agent.  Now he's a big leaguer.  Lots of scouts had some difficult questions to answer after that one.

I still think it's Rodon given he went from being non-tendered to pitching like the best pitcher in the AL for long stretches, but it's a fun debate

Really good 2-3 inning guys are really valuable in the bullpen.

The Yankees basically gave Cessa away to dump Justin Wilson's contract to stay under the tax.

He's saving a bat drop for tomorrow when I'm in attendance....what a guy!!

If this guy can strike Grandal out then nobody else has a chance.

I personally don’t care who we play… yes home field advantage would be nice but playoff White Sox baseball has me stoked already.

Anything else is just a cherry.

They aren’t seeing Cessa well

Eloy 2 out single

Hopefully Cessa is done after this inning.

Real big inning for Reylo coming up. After 30 some pitches is when he usually starts to lose some of his stuff and the Reds are sending up the middle of their order.

2nd base is still a total black hole for a team this good.

It has been, for the most part, since Ray Durham left after 2002 (2.7 bWAR/season average with the White Sox).

I think you line 'em up Lopez, Gio, Lance, Dylan in the playoffs.
