But seriously, I saw a couple of predictions where they said Atlanta has been playing great ball the last month so maybe....
October 7, 20214 yr So far holding true what I said about HR's providing 45-50% of the offense in the playoffs. Might be higher than that now with only a 2 game sample size but when the World Series is over it should be in that range.
October 7, 20214 yr I have a lot of Cards fans coworkers so I’m glad I have a golf tournament today. I don’t want to be around that stench of postseason loss.

As much as I would love to see TB beat Boston, I'm actually rooting for Boston so if the Sox advance they'll have home-field advantage for the ALCS and I'll actually be able to go to a postseason game, as the homefield advantage ALCS team gets their home games on the weekends. October 7, 20214 yr Note to Rick Hahn: Cardinals might be interested in trading for a high leverage reliever in the offseason.
October 7, 20214 yr I am no LA fan, but I am glad they won. Over 100 wins should get you in the playoffs without getting eliminated in one game. I know the two wild cards stir interest, but I don't like it. One wild card is enough. I wonder what changes are on the way.

The Sox having home field does not guarantee you a playoff game one way or another. Both teams in that round are only guaranteed two home games.

It gaurantees that they will play on the 15th and 16th in Chicago if they play Boston. And the 16th is really the only day I'd be able to make work.
October 7, 20214 yr This is confusing to me, when I was watching he was really off on the outside corner to Rhh
