Another guy off the board…

Same song and dance every offseason. Get hyped up for A tier free agents only to end up with Cesar Hernandez and Sheets in RF

At least he's not signing with an AL Central team. We can't hit that guy to save our lives.

Harold is the one that gave us hope in the first place. If this offseason doesn't live up to expectations, it's on him.

Runs the Mets equivalent of Futuresox. Has connections to the Mariners?

but i was ripped on for suggesting how shit the front office has been at evaluating MLB talent and that this offseason would be more of the same! oh well, looks like it is.

I don't think it's a problem of evaluating talent, I actually think they've been pretty good.  The problem is that they seem totally out of touch with how much those  players are worth in the market.

Apparently so.

I'm gonna guess the Sox were interested but weren't willing to go above $100 million or 5 years.

I have the feeling the Mariners are going to wish the opt out was their's after year 3.

hahahaha the front office is holding a birthday party for minnie minoso in the B lot on the last day before the lockout, i think I am done with the offseason until post lockout

UGH.  There goes the one I wanted.

That's just the gausman deal. Very annoying. This pitching problem sucks 100x more than 2b to me.

Gotta admit, rather embarrassing to not even see the Sox attached to ANYONE really, that has signed.

That's probably a good idea.

I’ve long held the opinion that we’re either signing Rodon or getting our SP via trade. Perhaps both.

Not in melt down mode.

Could be worse. You could be a Dodgers fan and lose Scherzer, about to lose Seager, and haven't found their replacements with only 4 months to go before the season starts.

Boob strikes again. Says we're interested in both Semien and Ray and they sign with someone else.

Yeah, its deflating at this point that all of the action is happening and nary a Sox mention.  Like, at all.

“Finish in second place every single year because your fans will say ‘Wow, we got a shot. We’re in it!’ But there’s always the carrot left.”

Are we surprised?

I think it's more of Jerry having a firm line that he refuses to cross.
