No, it wasn’t a tough call.

Unfortunately with the bar set so low, you turned it into a game of limbo

Lmao.... At least you're consistent with your undying loyalty to this fucking incompetent, demented dinosaur. Walking him was the wrong call based on every available data point on the fucking planet.

I've never fallen out of love with the White Sox like I have this season. Even during the rebuild. This is just pure misery inflicted onto the fanbase.

Fuck this guy.  Can’t even cheer for this team with this clown as manager

I want to see a video of the entire post game press conference. Link anywhere?

Wow!  Tony looks even more ridiculous now than he did when he first made the move!

So apparently Tony doesn't know what he angrily asked if the reporters know.

I get the walk with an open base and the pitcher behind in the count. But not with two strikes

Fire him please!!!!

"Does anyone in this room really think that with the count they should have hit to Turner. I mean there's no chance." - Close to that when someone asked about it a second time.

Who asked this question?  Fegan?

Trea Turner has 2 hits in 7 ABs in a 1-2 count this year against left handed pitchers. I don't know how you draw any real conclusions about that from a sample size of 7 ABs.

In his career, he's a .229 hitter against lefties in a 1-2 count.

Muncy, while bad this year, is historically a stronger hitter vs. lefties .251/.365/.492.

He's fucking delusional lmao.

It's crazy that his move completely backfired and he's still sticking to his guns thinking it was some sort of no brainer move.

and Sousa is actually worse against lefties as well

He insists it was an easy call, brings up unnamed statistics (that we've verified he's wrong about), and is legitimately angrily dumbfounded that he is getting questioned on this.

Will take BBWAA HoF voters mumbling about a recall/nullification vote...

I wanted to go catch the ballgame on what looks like a beautiful weekend. Guess I won't now.

Stoney starting to crack

Glad I went back to sleep after the 6-4 "Burger inning debacle."

But yet, since tomorrow's starter is a righty and because Burger left with cramps, you'll see a lineup that looks like

SS Garcia

CF Robert

3B Moncada

1B Abreu

DH Grandal

LF Vaughn

RF Sheets

2B Harrison

C McGuire

If this moron is so convinced that walking Turner to pitch to Muncy was so smart, why did he wait for Sousa to throw 3 pitches?

Hey Rick. Hey Jerry. Hey Kenny. Hey Tony. If any of you 4 nitwits are reading this: f*** you. You all suck ass at your jobs

Is anyone defending LaRussa anymore?

Someone really needs to call him out directly and say it was the dumbest move they’ve ever seen. They can’t keep letting him get away with it

Sounds like Merkin, amazingly.

I did find it funny he didn't actually say what Turner is hitting in those situations, he just inferred that he was good at that situation.

Tray is seemingly the last man standing.

Elrockin?

Everyday Trea Turner?
