Can't believe they're pitching Velazquez for the home opener. At least Keuchel is a name.

Eloy gets such a big pass for wildly underachieving expectations that other guys on the team don't receive

The less Grandal catches the better.

Josh is our best player.

McGuire was picked before TA? lol

this Mcguire cat does not get cheated it seems.

Is this pitcher that good or the sox terrible?

He’s good, but missing Yoan and Pollock really hurts their chances against good RHP.

Not sure it was intentional, but great pitch by Lopez. Also McGuire for Collins was a heist.

No doubt. Seems to me Reese does a lot of little things too. Veteran move stuff. Small winning or hustle plays

Brash is good and a particularly bad match-up for the Sox RHH

You know things aren't going well when you're missing Yoan

LaRussa loves to play match ups but often just ignores defense.

How'd that matchup minded lineup workout so far today lol.  1 run.  They'll figure it out but putting a bunch of hitters in the lineup just bc they are lefty shouldn't be the way to go lol

Lopez showing his starter's arsenal today

Lopez looking like good Lopez.

Did Lopez shorten up his throwing motion? Almost has a version of Gio’s short arm release…don’t recall that before but could be wrong

that slider he has is filthy today.

Cool calm collected

TA rounding balls off again. Only a matter of time before he boots one.

Yep. Started shortening it up during ST last year.

and he's mixing in a 12-6? damn reylo.

This is the first time in a long time I've seen Lopez break out the curve and change up this often.
