Can't believe they're pitching Velazquez for the home opener. At least Keuchel is a name.

Eloy gets such a big pass for wildly underachieving expectations that other guys on the team don't receive

The less Grandal catches the better.

Biggest matchup in the game so far seems to be Stoney vs the word "Velasquez"

Can this guy pitch any slower?

he's doing a great job attacking the corners of the plate so far, gotta say he looks solid.

Every out & clean inning Velasquez pitches feels like found money

Lucky that wasn’t on the concourse

thought haniger hit a home run

Oh my that was a bad pitch lol

Wind definitely held that one up

Got it in just enough.

Deep fly caught by Eloy on the track.   Not a terrible 1st for VV.

Command looks iffy and zero swings and misses. I dunno, but I won't complain about a scoreless inning

I don't like the working from behind, but hopefully it was a bit of nerves or the extra long pre-game.

Haniger might have gotten just under that one. 39 launch angle and 104 off the bat. That's probably a homer if the wind isn't strongly blowing in.

Robert trusts Eloy out there even less than us fans.

Yeeeshh, that's gone most days.

too high - LA of 39 degrees. he hit it hard enough.

Velasquez seems like a dollar store version of Javy Vazquez

There was a Winker at the plate and a wanker behind the plate.

Truer words have never been spoken

with inflation that might be a good value.

And the first collision of the day is not on the Sox side surprisingly

kelenic the clown.

They just about Eloy'd each other out there on that on.
