  • It's hilarious that people believe TLR is the main problem with this team and things will get solved in a snap when someone new comes in.  He's on a long list of much deeper issues

Just do even basic research. He's a terrible person.

  • I did that when my daughter was an infant because it was the only way to get her to fall asleep. ?

Should Sox push Tanner Banks to high leverage Left arm over Bummer? Aaron doesn’t have much control this year so far.

Ruiz looking nasty

Just wanted to stop by today to remind everyone about Ruiz mania.

Never forget those who wanted to release Ruiz 1 months ago.

Wow. Nice changeup. It's amazing how far Ruiz has come. Wasn't he the innings eater on our rebuilding teams?

Will literally never ever understand why so many Sox fans have an issue with Ruiz. He had a 3.05 ERA last year and this season he's running a K rate over 40% with apparently a plus plus change-up now.

he is a perfectly fine and possibly very good reliever

His filling innings at this stage of the season is more important.  Plus we know he can handle it at this stage.

I was shocked to see this is already his 5th year on the big league club. Yes he was.

Sheets refuses to walk and grounds out to right side again.

Sheets is Palka. Palka is Sheets.  When Yoan comes back, send him down to Charlotte to get everyday at bats until there are everyday at bats for him here.  There shouldn't be on Yoan and Luis are back.

People actually wanted to trade AV because of Sheets.  Woof.

Bummer wasn't on the mark much in the first half of last year either.

8th. Although I'm not too confident in Hendricks atm...

Another thing he wasn't a pitcher from the get go either.

I say go for it.

I thought so.

On another note...how the hell is this team still in 2nd place in the central?

These are the things Ruiz has to avoid

Career 1.5 WHIP might have something to do with it.

I agree Ruiz is a perfectly acceptable low leverage middle reliever.  I was never calling for his head like some.  But he also isn't great or anything.

His stuff isn’t nearly as good when he’s holding runners on

Kind of a tough few days for McGuire behind the plate tbh.  Dude needs to be amazing back there to tolerate the bat.

Because it's the AL Central.

You answered your own question.

Walk after walk to the 27 Yankees

I know but still it blows my mind, they lost 8 in a row...

Bravo on you for being brave enough to dunk on people about Jose Ruiz before he was out of the inning.

Is it bat drop time to tie it up?

Because they are in a division of AAA teams.

The trouble is the last 8 games the Sox look like an AA team.
