So, we're officially at the point now where Cease was the bigger regret for the Cubs of the Quintana trade, yeah?

I didn't know managers were allowed to pinch hit their best players on rest days

He told them that a week ago. There was an article on the Athletic where Menechino said that being patient and waiting for their pitch was the way to get out of it.

Menechino isn't the problem, it's the players themselves. He's got an entire lineup of headcases.

You totally missed the other thread.

How come it feels like AJ Pollock’s paternity leave/hamstring will be this year’s version of Dunn’s appendix.  He’s been just awful since the first game.

Cease!!! Love him

Which other thread?

In years past, Cease has pitched lights out the first few innings, and then come apart in the 5th or 6th . hoping that he has grown past that.

6th inning is still Cease's biggest undoing, even this year so far. I'm hoping he gets past it, to get farther into games, and turn that corner.

Inning over!

Way to go DC!

The overwhelming majority of posters on here are male, so the answer for most of us is no.  I can count the number of known active female posters on one hand.

idk about you.

If there is a mustache Cease bobblehead night you bet you're ass I'm gonna be there

Sox have to add on some runs and not blow this performance by Cease. You can't waste pitching like this.

Good AB by Jose there

While some people were fawning over Jose Eloy and Yo our go-to guys morphed into TA Vaughn and LuBob.

Grandal still the guy who wants to take walks, and not the guy who drives runs in.

Burger no likey change ups

Wow, good wheels Jose!

LOL Abreu

Lol with the backwards somersault

really great hustle by Jose

Us semi-insiders call that an INSURANCE RUN.
