  • What they really need is new ownership and then everything that trickles down because of it

You run on Benintendi every chance you get.  He made a throw earlier this year that didn't even make it to the catcher.  He has a 20 arm but somehow uncorked a good throw there.  It was a good send.

His arm isn’t good but the ball was very shallow. He had the ball way before Harrison even touched third.

Spend years losing baseball games on purpose, draft someone to be your 2nd basemen of the future, and then trade him away with the plan being to replace him with utility infielders

brilliant strategy all around

Madrigal has been terrible and injured this year.

Yet Harrison will keep playing until July.  Who's cares about winning . We have to make sure the players are rested for the off-season.

He will never play a full season. Once they realized he wasn't going to be the future dumping him wasn't a bad move.

Big Energy is one of KW/Hahn's worst ever middle infielder signings, which says a lot

And was obvious as soon as it was announced.

Yep. Welcome to the 2022 Chicago White Sox.

It’s comical he was chosen to play both games today

In the end the Sox got Pollock for Madrigal and Heuer. I draw a blank when I try to evaluate that.

I think Harrison has become a higher "Eat the money" priority over Kuechel.

Assuming Old Fuck LaRussa would allow Yolbert to play everyday and also save us from having to see Leury as often as we do.

Josh Harrison absolutely blows.

He’d be a fine last man on the bench. He’s over played cause our manager is a dope.

I mean we don't have a starting caliber 2B on the roster.

Said it early in the season, Kimbrel will still end up being the best piece of what turned out to be a 3 way trade.

That's fine, but their plan A at 2nd base has been to go with utility infielders since the trade deadline of last year. First it was Cesar and now it's Josh Harrison. It was immediately evident neither guy is good enough to start on what's supposed to be a WS contender.

I’d far rather see Leury play 2B. 40% of Harrison’s appearances have also been at 3B. But yeah. At this point you kinda have to try Yolbert, even with his slight cool off lately.

Love listening to Benetti talk about the value teams get from optimized lineup construction or shifts when the Sox manager is Tony LaRussa

I mean who do you play there if Tim Anderson is given the 2nd game off?

Good point, we have no options.  look who we have as IF options in the minors that are on the 40 man roster, Danny Mendick, Romy Gonzalez, and Yermin Mercedes.

I don't think you could have asked for more from Martin. 5 innings of 1 run ball with 7 Ks. It's a really good debut.
