I just want to be clear where I stand on the Sox…

I truly believe they will still win 90+ games and easily win the division because it sucks and they have the most talent. They will dominate in July and August, and do enough in September to finish it off.

But they are bad right now. I know it. You know it. The American people know it. Just have to get their shit together.

The American people are disinterested apathetic or unaware of Sox.  Only bettors and fantasy league owners and SoxTalk Soxmachine  SS showdown.

That's just it.  I see an entire team under-performing, and giving some of the worst defensive production I have ever seen from a team with World Series aspirations, under a manager who was supposed t

Avi and Eaton had individually solid seasons there...that has been it.

Two.

That one year Eaton was one of the best RFers in the game.

Enabling the pitching steal of a decade to jump start the rebuild.

At least Anderson is striving mightily to win.

2017 was the last solid year by a White Sox outfielder.

Team Games Played in RF Leader

  • 2022 Adam Engel 0.7 bWAR
  • 2021 Adam Eaton 0.0 bWAR
  • 2020 Nomar Mazara 0.0 bWAR
  • 2019 Ryan Cordell -0.6 bWAR
  • 2018 Avisail Garcia 0.5 bWAR

I couldn't believe how bad the results were at 2nd base when I looked it up earlier this year.

They could.  Problem is they haven't shown up.

Minnesota is not that bad.

How the hell does Engel have 0.7 bWAR already this season?

Warning track power

Ugh

Eventually Robert is going to swing at an inside fastball that ends up hitting him

Boy if Anderson got picked off there...getting sloppy again and losing focus/concentration.

Moncada should have hit that on the ground like everyone else

Luis is literally swinging at everything.  Wtf is wrong with him.

Robert + Slider away = Next guy up to bat.

He looks so easy to pitch to right now.

If teams commit to never throwing Robert a strike like KC has tonight, he will have problems

If Royce Lewis can hold his own they really have a flexible roster with Gordon Arraez Urshela etc.

Basically opposite of the Sox.

Robert having some issues right now

There’s been no focus since day one

Just getting around to the game. Hard to believe the Sox lose as many games as they do to this wretched KC team. You'd think the Sox as a franchise would want to dominate the Royals when the talent is in the favor of the Sox. What a joke. Sox finally have much better talent and can't rule the Royals. Sickening.

You know what I’m going to say.  Close that stance up and figure out how to bring the hands in when hitting more.

Sox are very averse to crooked number innings.  Think a lack of homers and not talking walks are factors. It is hard to win games without a crooked number here and there, particularly with the bad Sox D.

I ask the question: Are they really more talented than KC and Detroit?

Sigh.

Staumont is really really nasty when he's on.

yes but that isn't the bar or particularly relevant to anything
