On a team that has Cease, Kopech, Giolito, Cueto and Velasqez, and in the middle of having 3 days off in an 8 day span, there's no excuse for Dallas Keuchel to be starting a game.

  • I'd like to 2nd that sentiment of LaRussa fucking off that was mentioned earlier

I hate his postgame interviews. Guy just seems like a jagoff.

I think he's essentially auditioning for a broadcasting job with all of his extraneous background/context comments to the media this year.

Back in the day, minor league affiliates would threaten to pull their player development agreements if the big league teams failed to provide competitive teams on a consistent basis.

What part of .500 baseball isn't competitive to you?

But we aren't to the 54 game mark when you really have a solid idea of what kind of team you have.

"Mercifully for himself Keuchel is out of the game."  Red Sox broadcasters with a sense of humor at least.

Might have been Dallas Keuchel's last big league start.  Stuff just doesn't play in the bullpen.

Damn, not you too.

We will have no optimists left here in a week.

All of our minor league affiliates have played .500 baseball for the last 2-3 seasons?

We were talking about torturing Charlotte fans by sending him there.

That won't happen. This will be his last appearance for the White Sox.

He is talking about minor league records

feels like Boston has been batting 80 pct of the time in this series

What do we have, like almost 65 million dollars tied up in Grandal, Keuchel, Harrison, Pollock and Kelly

The fine art of acquiring fading talent.

We can come back this game !!!

Fixed it for you.

The whole point of a rebuild is to build a team strong enough to be able to come back from a lead like this early in the game.

Rebuild teams lose this game with little fight put up.

Championship teams fight back and either come back and win the game, or make it awfully close.

My bad...I was talking the big league club.  I see your point now.

Two months into the season, only the Tigers and Pirates have scored less runs than the Sox. That's nuts.

They really need to start doing a comparison stat on the basic game info screen of time at bat for each team...just like soccer.

Without Moncada Robert and Jimenez...not happening.  Pretty sure Grandal might now have the worst/lowest qualified OPS in baseball.

Thanks....I needed that.

You and Thad Bosley will keep my spirits up for awhile.

I love Engel as a 4th outfielder.

That should tell you all you need to know about how badly this season has gone awry.

“They got us right where we want them!”, a wise man once said!

its all going according to plan!

Get lucky in the draft a couple times (Tim Anderson... and... I dunno who else?)

Sign some old veterans (the money will be spent!)

Throw the rest of the money at bullpen arms (it never fails!)

Call up some kids from the minors that are good (rebuild complete!)

Call it a competitive window (lose in the first round of the playoffs two years in a row)

Fans will keep coming to the games, buying merch and watching on tv/www.
