Among other things that weren't made public.

I really wouldn't say I have it in for him as much I just can't see it happening.  Maybe he's grown up since leaving the game and will prove me wrong.

I never knew he was that much of a prick. I mean, I remember stories from earlier in his career where all his teammates hated him. I thought he changed that by the time he was with the Sox. Interesting.

  • When LaRussa finally leaves, I hope the replacement is someone who has no prior association with the White Sox. Regardless, I no longer think the Sox are the favorites to win the AL Central.

He's putting guys with 1-2 counts on base.

Or pulling a pitcher with no one warming up.

Sure, another ex Sox player hire, those have worked out so well in the past.

I want the next guy from outside the organization.

Or going out to argue with an umpire on a call that went the Sox way.

I do think this version of LaRussa is about as close to Bevington as they have ever been.

Who could have seen this coming?

True but he has a long way to good.

He's also not as entertaining.  Bevington was a show.

I think AJ is much better suited in the booth as a color man myself.  I'd love to see him replace Stone.

This I would agree with.

Chester?  That I'll happily agree with.

Oops. Fat fingers.

I declare today BumDay

Grancada combine for at least three hits

We are picking up the Bumgarner contract off a dead cat bounce?

Can’t wait.  He checks all the boxes, NL guy, can probably hit better than 60% of Sox regulars, LHPer to replace Keuchel, was/is connected to the DBacks organization, doesn’t have any tolerance for TA7 showboating so a natural TLR ally.

That would be worth watching.

Lopez is supposed to pitch just one inning...although TLR will probably extend him now.

Current Rangers 1/21 against him.

Solid inning

This organization desperately needs an influx of voices that have zero connection to the White Sox. No AJ, Ozzie, for the love of god. Aim higher.

I"d give him another inning after that one.

Or are exiled to Granada after undergoing a cacophonous chorus of boos...

It's jarring to see 7 of the 9 hitters in tonight's lineup are above average (most of them comfortably so) for their career

He's supposed to pitch two

Definitely no Bacon Beckham.

Would definitely switch teams until he was jettisoned if that's the case.

Pollock's up to a 112 wRC+ over the last 30 days. Maybe he's good again.

Guess Rangers' crew had wrong info.

As he pitched yesterday as well...or the night before.
