Because of option limitations and the small chance that something else could happen in between, I would guess.

Also, any time  guy who pitches 4+ innings gets optioned, he can't be replaced for 3 days.

  • I’m officially on the “lose for a month straight” bandwagon. Team needs to bottom out and sell.

At the park, when they announced the staring line ups LaRussa was booed. Just like old times.

I thought that was just for COVID restrictions?

I will br there so I will miss Jason calling the opposing pitcher Pair-ez. I love that.

Oh, it might be. I'm not sure. There are so many roster rules it's hard to keep them all straight.

Shocked Grandal is catching in a day game after a night game. RH had to have said something to TLR before yesterdays game

The fact that people still think spineless Rick can have a word with LaRussa is so comical.

Every time someone figures out a loophole they add a new rule

I would have flipped Garcia and Mendick, but overall what I was hoping for.

Need a good solid 7 innings from Gio today.

Ever since he caught COVID there's been some starts where he's looked like he was going to pass out on the mound. Hopefully we avoid that today

Not a good start

I would have put Engel in RF, Vaughn at 1B, Abreu at DH and Burger at 3B

Better offense and defense.

He really hasn't been the same since he got COVID.

I'll give up a run for a double play, so lets get one of those ground balls

What's your prediction?

Rangers 1 for their last 19 with RISP.

Once again Vaughn shouldn't be in LF.

Some reports of severe hail in NW Missouri before the end of the day

91-93 FB range first inning.

Shocking another stolen base surrendered with Grandal.

Perfect location down and away.

Giolito getting some very generous strike calls this inning

Thank you ump for that inning.

Ace

Nice comeback Gio.

lucas' reaction after striking out the side....i'm here for it

3 consecutive strikeouts on 92-93 mph fastballs. Statistically Heim their best hitter.

Rays already up 3-0 over Minny, too.
