It’s true. But something has to be done. Can’t let this guy collect millions while being one of the worst players in baseball being a net negative

When you're on a Major League contract like he is, you can't be sent down without being DFA. 

He's owed 47.6M over the next two years, so he's getting every opportunity to turn it around. 

They're not DFAing a 50+M contract over 2.5 years.
