  • Do any of you recognize this? You will, because it is a small part of the overall plan, to have an excuse for TLR and the 2022 season. Even if there was any thought of TLR not being here past this sea

Cursed... Team is cursed

Are you bleepin me!!!!!!

This is just stupid.

And it continues.  Kopech was furious being pulled, too.

The team needs to hire a yoga trainer, this is getting absolutely ridiculous

Welp. Didn’t look that bad. Hopefully just a stinger and he’ll be fine by the weekend.

They can hire Cease, lol…

Def was not a knee

hopefully just a sprained ankle...

Ankle.

Guess we’ll find out soon enough.  Fold this into other thread.

Too bad they didn’t add a real starter to the rotation this off-season….

This obviously sucks. On the bright side, his innings needed to be limited regardless. Lynn is also returning next week. Hopefully it's a minor ankle injury.

The funny thing is that Cueto, VV and Martin have collectively done better than anyone would have predicted but the oitching is still below average overall (partly due to Keuchel as well.)

Did it look minor?

I will guess they will say he left the gane with ankle discomfort and will be re-evluated tomorrow.

I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s just musical chairs with these injuries.

It didn’t look like a bad injury. Twisted/sprained ankle. Def was in some pain. Would guess they IL him simply because the innings need to be limited anyhow so may as well just give him some rest now.

We thought last year was bad...

Johnny Cueto will be making only his second career relief appearance unless he’s just getting work in.

334 career starts.

Thank you for making this thread. The usual Sox media brass on Twitter and the wannabes didn’t say crap about the injury he sustained. I am at least glad it isn’t an arm injury.

4 days rest

Maybe Kopech comes back tomorrow.

"Well, the team was injury plagued in 2022."
