Makes sense. They use different relievers based on if they are winning or down by 2 or more it seems. Edit: having checked this, Foster has been worse at home. But nothing I side earlier changes.

Vaughn, Cease and Madrigal for Conforto

I would take Moncada 1/4 with a 2B, BB and a 250/400/500 line the rest of the way.

Let's have a nice boring half inning and call it a night.

mikolas at 115 pitches and injury history going for no hitter against Pirates for DH sweep

Who wouldn't?

no real contender going to have a player like leury garcia in the line up

injuries ya.. but let's be real the manager called him an everyday player -

I'm mildly surprised Kelly isn't in

We need hitters who take balls and attack strikes.

Cease and Kopech will never go deep into games as their stuff is too good but their control is a little off thus deep counts.

20 years ago both would be going 7 or 8 innings and throwing 130 pitches.

There is no legitimate reason why he is such a fixture

I think we're getting closer and closer to no starters.

He's healthy and stays that way

did anyone catch the comedy of bennetti earlier saying sousa did a good job last night?

he made some comment about how he gave up no runs....

no he got in the game and got smacked around and let cricks base runners score.

Anyone else getting a bad feeling?
