    Fuck off, Ron.

  • Why does this organization not understand he’s only a DH. He cannot play in the outfield yet they continue to run him out there….smdh

Jose is starting to press with RISP again

C'mon Jose. You should be in control of this at bat.

That'll do ? way to go Jose!!

I still have no idea why teams bring in lefties against the Sox or use lefties in spot starts against the Sox.  Any RHP with a pulse is effective against these guys but they still do hammer lefties.

Need Eloy to put the ball in play here.  Three great at bats to start the inning

My god Eloy, go away

Even though I really like the guy, I don't want to sign Giolito long-term. The delivery bothers me as does the large fastball decline.

I'm running out of optimism with Eloy

Lucas is back....time to refinance with Guaranteed Rate....they have a new variable rate tied to Giolito's ERA.

Nah, Hahn will extend Lynn again and bring Keuchel back on a "team friendly" deal.

Eloy having some rough at bats, sheesh

Nah he will stare down strike 3

Eloy looks lost.

Eloy...what are you looking for?

At least Vaughn drove in the run

Not ideal but important 2nd run

That'll work, Andrew. Eloy, that was all we needed.

Lets keep mashing lefties, AJ

I’m actually pulling for an Eloy injury!

Eloy is terrible. I got laughed at when I compared him to Soler

I'm not convinced his fastball velo is gone for good. He's had 2 (I think) starts recently where the fastball velo was 94. His track record is good, he's been durable, and he's a guy I'd trust to maximize whatever his ability is. Realistically, the Sox are never going to sign someone better or develop enough quality pitching where he isn't needed.

You can't always plan not to use any LHP on your team just because It's the Sox. It's kind of limits your staff.

Yep, it looked like that guy threw an 0-2 hanger there.

Especially in a game where your starter goes 1 inning. They probably couldn't get through 9 without using at least 1 lefty.
