That's the frustrating thing, if the Sox can find a little bit more offense and win the division, Cease-Cueto-Kopech give them a chance to beat anybody in the postseason.

Replace “frustrating” with “encouraging” or “exciting” and I totally agree

Big Energy right there.

Nice play by Josh.

Nice backup big energy

That was fun - Team Big Energy!

Big smile by Josh into the dugout….

Been to all three games this weekend. Friday horrible, yesterday was acceptable as a win, today has actually been fun

Unless we score a bunch here, Liam is probably gonna pitch and not be available tomorrow. That's the biggest problem with this team. Every game they're up in is close so they need their best relievers to pitch nearly everyday. It's hard to string together more than 2-3 wins that way.

Tim throws the bat after striking out on a shitty pitch. Maybe don't swing at that?

That was his internal dialogue, yes

They sure like throwing lefties against the middle of our order

why is Vaughn swinging at that pitch... what the hell is he thinking

Shoulda been a walk but the ump gave a gigantic plate to Selman.

WTP

There it is....the old Joe Kelly being only "mostly" injured is just like a trade.  Thanks Chuck.

Yep, AV kinda forced to swing at that one

Straining to take series like this won't cut it. They need go on a 10-2 roll at some point.

Going for the hockey score win today which would increase the Sox record in those games to 31-17

He’s got to get back to having a good eye at the plate

Keep Brown in the park, you've got a good chance to win.

This team has been better in close games this year. That was one of the things we sucked at last year. A lot of it was cause of the 8th inning issues and TLR being a bad manager. Unfortunately the offense just hasn't been very good and we play a ton of these close games.

To be fair, that ump was calling a pretty wide plate on Andrew there.

Those are my close low scoring game stats I invented. Anyteam that wins scoring 5 or less runs they are 30-17 and going for 31-17

Don't throw inside fastballs to Laureano.

When Liam falls behind 3-1 you know the fastball is coming and he's gonna challenge you to hit it
