I think at times he's so unhappy with his offense he kind of gives up.

Whatever his mentality is at the plate this season, it needs to be flushed away.   I’m one of his biggest fans/defenders and even I think he needs to get his head in the game at the plate.  I honestly don’t know what the F is going on with him.

Won’t happen. TLR would have to be dying if he would play a rookie catcher and let him handle the pitching staff this late into the season

The walks really killed it for him. He didn't get hit too hard, but he had a ton of traffic on the bases.

AJ Pollock just likes hitting in the leadoff spot. 

This might be Pollock's best game of the season against a RHP. He's crushing everything.

Pollock seems to thrive hitting leadoff.

Time to move TA down in the order to let him get it right.

Coming into today, Pollock had a 193 wRC+ in 53 PAs in the leadoff spot.

 Not with 2 months left to go in the season. He took over out of necessity due to Grandals injury and that Sox team had a huge gap between them and the 2nd place team so it was easier to risk it then. I would love to see the kid be brought up. I just don’t think it would happen
