The thing is there are other options! The only reason he's in right is because we have to play both catchers tonight for some reason. You're saying its more important to get Yaz (or Sebys) bat in there than to have Engel in the OF, or even Sheets who's still bad but somehow less bad in right

I feel like they will deal Vaughn for a SP and sign Abreu to a 3 year deal where he will wither away like Konerko until everyone wants him gone. Meanwhile Vaughn will blossom in a real organization and we will all shake our fists at the sky

Sure they can. You have a 1B and a DH spot. Eloy is going to play a lot of LF. You just need to find an actual RF so that TLR doesn't have other options to resort to

It's really incredible how these guys can watch Abreu play every day and take nothing from it. He's as good as a player leader as you could ask for and it still doesn't rub off.
