he's never really played anything besides shortstop, so hard to tell what else he can play

Defensive metrics weren't as precise ~15 years ago, but Jermaine Dye was regularly a -25 run defender or worse his last few years on the Sox.

Awesome to see Lance is still capable of being a front line pitcher when he's healthy.
