The only miracle we need if we lose tonight is Minnesota sweeps the doubleheader  and we win.

Best case scenario here. Let’s go get it tomorrow and hope Minnesota finds their way for a day.

Why throw a fast ball there? How is that not offspeed out of the zone?

Probably afraid of spiking it.

Not everyone is like the Sox and fail to elevate fastballs

Cairo should give another speech

The offense decided not to show up again.  Great timing boys.  I hope your golf swings are ready because October is going to be a great time to get on the links.

Liam's error cost us the game and most likely the season.

no contender would get schooled by the bottom dwelling Tigers like our offense was tonight.

Cairo appeared clueless in extras

Should have walked Reyes to set up a force at home. You'd have to face Baez regardless.

Wow, the great Miguel CAIRO managed this game and the Sox looked as pathetic as ever.  But Tony is the real problem with these deadbeats…

Good lord, how can anyone still defend Tony?  Cairo isn’t great by any means, but that stupid asshole completely torpedoed this rebuild, along with Hahn.

All I can think of right now is the parrot in Scary Movie 2 saying, "fuckin tease!".

0-11 from the lefties tonight. Thanks as always, especially Yoan and Grandal.

He's still a problem.  A game this late in the season against the Tigers shouldn't matter this much.  He was in charge when they played like dog crap for 5 months.

Cairo has the team playing better as a whole. It's not his fault Tony managed the Sox to below .500 for most of the season. They're playing .600 ball under Cairo, which is what most of us expected this year. s%*# happens in baseball, which is why you can't put yourself in this position where you can't afford to lose at all for the last 20 or so games in a season. You're just not gonna win every game in baseball.

Yoan with his patented 0-5 after looking like a world beater the day before.

I'm fairly convinced that this team would be in first place had Tony stepped away at the ASB.

Walk Reyes

Cairo gets an F in managing the 10 th.  First he doesn’t bunt Josh against the tough Lang, and then doesn’t walk Reyes.  Our lack of clutch hitting also hurt.

This team blowing it like they are this season is the biggest fall from grace I've ever seen. This team deserves all the criticism it gets and probably more. The fact they didn't make the postseason in 2022 is ridiculous.

Cairo is managing this team well in Tony’s absence. If TLR had quit midseason than we would be in 1st place. He gave away too many games and we had to play catch up.

Sox just got beat by a better team. Not much you could do.

He loves him some mediocre pitching

Tony is celebrating on Rush Street tonight.

No doubt whatsoever.

Cairo not bunting and us not scoring basically forced Hinch to bunt because they were only playing for 1 run.
