This, the draft, and its entire coverage just seem so amateur compared to the NFL/NBA.

I actually like the reverse order element, but did they actually tell everyone to sit still and pretend like you’re not at a draft lottery?  Just weird to not see any excitement when teams actually jump up.

It's sad because there are plenty of people who would do a great job covering events like this. MLBN would rather have "big names" than have a quality & informative broadcast.

From watching the NHL draft lottery over the years, MLB execs were just as robotic and stoic as NHL execs whenever they jump up. You're lucky if the camera catches someone cracking a smile.
