Guys are always going to get hurt. Or struggle. If Burger rakes in his opportunities playing time will open up one way or another.

He's the starting 3B who plays GG caliber defense.  This isn't even a question.

Historically it's the opposite for him. Hopefully his struggles from the left side had to do with the oblique strain last year.

He no doubt needs to regain his offensive form, but to pretend like he hasn't done *anything* with the bat is silly.  Jake Burger hitting bombs in the spring doesn't mean he's proven enough to supplant the starting 3B.
