It was not TA’s fault. Hanser low bad throw led to his injury.

Not saying it was TA's fault... that was an totally inept sequence by the Sox, but the end result is he's hurt again and more than likely is going to miss time which has happened to him multiple times over the past few seasons sometimes landing on the IL more than once in a year.

Jimenez, Moncada now Anderson dealing with issues. LOL. Nothing ever changes. Anderson isn't the "face" of the franchise, he's the face of the injured list!

I'm over Moncada. He just doesn't love the game and only plays when he feels 100%. Well newsflash, none of us feel 100% every day but we all still work and do what we have to do. He is getting paid to

  • Seriously, I would like to come home from work and be able to just sit back on the couch and watch the game. Instead I have to keep trying to sneak it in during work.

Finally a scoreless game by the bullpen

No Ruiz, no Diekman helps.

The thing is there is enough of a track record for guys like Moncada, Jimenez, Anderson, Robert the "so-called" keys to the rebuild for the Sox to know... absolutely know that they were going to get hurt yet again. Like 59 wrote it's part of baseball.

So what does the brain-trust do?

Basically nothing over the off-season to build up depth which they basically knew they were going to need. It's not a mystery with these guys. the slightest twinge and they go on the IL.

That's some great front office isn't it? But it does give them an excuse again when things go south...'Oh well...you know it was all the injuries!' ?

By the way now with Middleton up, the Sox have three non-roster invitees on the 26 man roster.

Team should be renamed the Chicago Frail Sox.

Completely irrational reactions to Moncada are almost never satire, unfortunately.

Always way too serious for the absurdity of the takes.

Andrus keeps chasing 2-0 pitches

He does not like to take walks.

Literally every team has guys hurt.  Look at Twins.  Kepler IL, Kiriloff IL, Polanco IL, Correa hurt back, Gallo hurt hammy. Buxton isn't going to play the OF until mid May at the earliest.  Its just baseball.  Guys get dinged up.  But I know that won't stop you from thinking this is something unique to the White Sox.

Completely forgot about Polanco.

Near MVP level half of 2021.

Then another reason that lineup looks different is no Sano and Gary Sanchez...Vasquez completely eliminates the opposition running game.

He's definitely not going to get $175-225 milion from JR in his thirties.

Vaughn's lack of athleticism as a base runner & fielder is still astonishing to me.

Certainly no up to a first round pick standards.

Why the f*** did Sheets cut that throw?

Small brain in a big body.

Gavin is atrocious at 1st. Why do we keep playing him there?

Beats me. He should be limited to DH and pinch hit duties, and occasional RF.

“Moncada has had this nagging thing for a little bit,” Grifol said. “But 10 games [into the season], we’re going to err on the side of caution. If they miss a couple of games, they miss a couple of games.”

A couple games...that's fine.

But if it turns into weeks or a constant nagging issue? That's another story.

Newsflash: it’s not.

Unfortunately.

Newsflash.

On the topic of Sheets cutting off the throw home. According to Ozzie on the postgame show, that cut off mistake is on Grandal. Ozzie said the catcher can see where the guy is rounding 3rd, the cutoff man can’t. It up to the catcher to communicate to cutoff man to let it through or cut it off. He began and ended his comment on the topic saying it was Grandal’s mistake.

This tweet is annoying. On top of the fact that it’s alluding to TA possibly dealing with a serious injury. I hate everything about it.

No doubt it’s vague, but he’s usually pretty conservative in saying anything unless he’s heard it could be something. Would be quite the nail in the coffin if this core.

Now he's saying he's fine

I know he’s supposed to be Jerry’s boy or something. I still want to fight the tweet.

That Northbrook Bob guy is such a loser. The Twitter insider bit he does is so lame.

Now now, there's no need to be jealous. You're still the undisputed king of White Sox Twitter.

He actually saved the game by going out...as Andrus undoubtedly wouldn't have made the same play that Romy and Burger teamed up on to preserve the lead at 4-3.

Is there really such a thing?

Or just in one's self-inflated imagination?
