That’s why I said when he’s healthy. You play Burger at 3B while Yoan is not until he cools off or he starts booting balls. Point is, when Yoan is on roster, they aren’t starting Burger at 3B over Yoan against RHP.

Speaking of booting balls.

Stop defending Tony. He was awful too and this season doesn’t change that.

Except both of these things can be true:  1) Tony La Russa was absolutely overmatched as a manager and made poor decisions throughout his Sox tenure that limited this team  AND 2) Rick

Rick sucks too. But to act like Tony doesn’t deserve any blame is ridiculous and stupid.

And Jake Burger, no matter how well he hits or how easy it is to root for the guy, isn’t a MLB 3B.

And a perfect example

Cali is like the Little Richard of knowing Sheets is good at hitting righties at home.

Not sure what you mean by Little Richard part of it. I'm just a White Sox fan who doesn't over react and actually knows that it's easy to over react to Sheets OF defense and forget or never even think there are other reasons to play someone other than that he fell down in the OF which doesn't only happen to big slow guys playing out of position in the OF.  Balls move twist, knuckle , get affected by wind and spin. Plenty of good OF's get turned around and misjudge FB's.

Of course.

Thanks again, Jake. Sheesh, you have to be at least a semi-competent 3rd baseman out there.

I really feel these pitchers don't trust the defense. Trying to k everybody and be too fine

Defense kills again

Cease ain’t looking to hot out there

Would you trust this defense behind you?  I know I wouldn’t.

Terrible play, ball ate him up on a backhand

C'mon dude 2 right down the middle

Yeah.  Couple steps to his right. Showed how slow and heavy his feet are.

Burger giveth a run and taketh two runs.  Sheets slow to get triple ball.  Our bad D gets exposed twice in the same inning.   Burger is a DH and a PH not 3B.

Seen that movie before. Cost us 2 runs.

Whoa...

This one is trending the wrong direction, thanks to some bad defense on the left side of the field.

Offense usual runs in one inning then nothing

Ok, BUT who’s plays 3rd and keep his bat in the lineup?

So Cease will be done after 5, with 90 pitches, and we get to watch this amazing bullpen try to keep a 1 run lead for 4 innings.

What, me worry?
