I'd like to see them rest Yoan vs. at least 1/2 the LH starters, let Burger start at 3B. They need to demote or DFA Alberto when Elvis returns. If they send Romy down, they are not serious compet

Giolito's stuff is so terrible. The fastball on the strikeout looking was 90 mph. Most of his sliders are down the middle or nowhere close

My favorite (useless) Angels tidbit:

If you translate their name (The Los Angeles Angels), it comes out as “The The Angels Angels.”

Please let this game and game thread be more entertaining than this post.

Let’s go Sox

Giolito vs Anderson

Back in the early 80's I used to live in the Valley for a while

It lives up to its name, LA LA Land

Thank you for your service @JoeC! You will win the day today! The White Sox have a decent chance today facing a LH Starter.

Third Angels Home Run in the First Inning this series.

Ball if flying, Sox need to score a bunch against the left handed pitcher.

lmfao

Mucas

Here we go again.

Mediocre fastballs right down the middle.  Can’t wait to trade this headcase

6 pitches, 1 run, 0 outs. have a game Lucas, you won't be around here much longer.

Must be nice to have a lead off man who can homer on a fastball down the middle, as opposed to grounding out

you just know he's going to start throwing 97 after we trade him

Smart by Eloy

Yoan looks injured again, of course.  Hobbling down to first base.

Eloy just missed a home run. Feel the Sox will score enough vs. a lefty to win today. Need to put 4-5 plus on the board before they go to RH relievers.

They need to demote or DFA Alberto when Elvis returns. If they send Romy down, they are not serious competing today or tomorrow.

Supposedly he feels a lot less pain batting left handed.

No reason for him to be playing against LHP at this point

Oh my word a walk! This early!

Yea. I don't know if it's still his back or what. But like the oblique his injuries seem to linger on while he plays. I don't know if I should I believe all that he plays through pain or  if the pain isn't there.

That's part of the reason why I TRY not to form too many opinions on player . who the f*** knows what's going on.

I'm not just a fan of winning and hate the players who perform poorly. I want them to win as just as much as anyone but I'm not going to let it rule my emotions. I know I don't know wtf is going on with any of them.

just have to hope Giolito strings together some very good outings before hes inevitably traded
