  • So if Burger takes the walk like he should have, this game is tied!  These are the little things that kills this team.

  • That is why we should not play Eloy in the outfield!

A sweep would be nice. A struggling left hander seems like a good recipe for success. The only thing I worry about is the team for the last almost 2 full years, seems to usually be really flat in these situations, like winning the series was enough. It isn’t enough.

At least Burger and Romy in the lineup, but not how sure how long before they fall victim to inconsistent playing time.

Might be time for another Moncada IL with how poorly he has been hitting the last 2-3 weeks back.

Nice to see a "non sunday" sunday line up.

Would have preferred Burger getting 3B, Zavala catching for Kopech, and Andrus sticking with SS and 2B.

Would also be glad if the IL’d Moncada until he is healthy, let Burger get a few weeks of reps in at 3B with Andrus spotting him a game every two series.

  1. SS Anderson
  2. 3B Burger
  3. CF Robert
  4. RF Jimenez
  5. DH Vaughn
  6. 1B Grandal
  7. LF Frazier
  8. 2B Gonzalez
  9.  C Zavala

Reserves: Andrus, Benintendi, Moncada, Sheets.

I agree Zavala should be catching Kopech today, as well as Seby should have also caught for Cease yesterday.

It makes no sense for the Sox two top pitchers with secondary pitches often outside the zone or in the dirt to be caught by Grandal.

Everyone is excited Romy Gonzalez is back in the lineup, some more than others.

The White Sox are MLB’s slumpbusters. They’ll cure whatever ails your pitching staff. A struggling lefty will regain his form and go 7 innings giving up a few hits, a run or two, and getting at least 7 K’s.

What is this lineup...

nice inning from michael with some help from kulpa

Robert so streaky

Not a competitive AB from Eloy.

Kopech looks real good right now.

That was a bullet from Vaughn.

Also a bullet from Grandal. Sometimes better to be lucky than good.

Two bad teams. Barely even pro baseball.

Launch angle bro.

Is this Tigers lineup the worst ever?

Talking about Boyd. I'll readily acknowledge everyone on the Sox is limited in approach/launch angle. No pitcher is aiming to give up 98 off the bat.

Two bad teams + one huge strike zone = Action!

Sox used to hit LHP
