Moncada looks absolutely toast up there, he has nothing on his swing

I want Moncada to succeed for lots of reasons, but especially so this image is used more often.

Hey mods/forum vets, this is unchartered territory for me.

If the Sox hold on and win should I make a new thread? Or can I just edit title and we can continue using this one?

Not super confident with Reylo

He hasn't given up an earned run since May 13th. His WHIP in the last month is just over 1.

It's wild to me how some players get the full recency bias "what have you done for me lately" treatment, and others have to spend an apparent eternity to shed the weight of fanbase narratives.

I still believe in him but defending any player on here who's struggling is a losing battle

The pitch clock is definitely in his head. I think that's contributed to a ton of his struggles. But his strikeout rate and stuff are still elite. The walks will come down and every mistake he's made getting punished to this degree is not sustainable over a full season.

Maybe the worm is turning.

Reynaldo ight even get his confidence back out of the closer's role.

And never in a million years thought don't trade Joe Kelly would be a legit thing.

With Reyno, it's the 4 walks in his last five appearances.

Looks like they're going to Graveman over Hendriks.

Interesting.

There always seemed to be a hang up with him.  Seemed the pitch clock was it earlier.  That was a big inning for him.

Haha.  First time in ages that thread title etiquette was actually important.

God this team is stupid....literally just f'ing stand there.

Grifol might need to give some take signs to our undisciplined hitters.

I'm shocked Tim rolled weakly to the left side with a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs.  Yeesh

Does it every time.

Of course... Hate to have the winning run at the plate with this small ballpark

This ain't good

Bad start

Here comes the blown save in 3….2…1…

Graveman all over

i'm old school but I woulda left Lopez in. He had good stuff. The more relievers u use the more likely you take the road 'L.' When the relievers are mediocre to lousy that is.

Just had a feeling this would play out like this

Two strikes on the Yankees lead off hitter and then you walk him. I am beyond words because you see what’s coming

The dreaded leadoff walk.

Tough break. He coulda made that play at 2B.

Sigh.

Let the pressure get to him.

This cooking up to be a disaster

Hope for the double play I guess
