That’s why you should’nt have First Baseman playing in the outfield.

Ohtani should have been a double.  No way on Trout’s.  That is a home run in more than half of MLB parks and has an expected batting average of .830 on that ball.  It was a play that theoretically can be made but that ball was smoked.

Agree so at some point Benintendi's mistake was that he didn't just stop and face the wall to play the carom . He payed the price for actually trying to make the catch too much and got trapped too close to the wall.

Damn just missed that one too. As Hawk would say "He was 1/16 of an inch under it!!"
