7/15- White Sox at Braves, 6:15, Fox

Featured Replies

This is the smartest game the Sox have played in a very long time.

Hope they can do it for nine innings.

Nice to see Santos back for the 7th.

Tim should steal here....

Really don’t understand not sending him in that scenario.

Excellent outing as usual by Santos.

You realize Strider's almost at 180 Ks already?

That's a Nolan Ryan or Randy Johnson number/pace.

You realize that some fans have high expectations for a former #3 overall pick on a 2-0 fastball after ~1300 career plate appearances?

Vaughn is real… not good….right now.

Demote him!  Dude had very little minor league development time, zero downside of optioning and giving him a couple months in Charlotte.

Six runs is nice, but 12 K’s & 0 BB’s reflect the true identify of this offense

They are never going to do that.

Too much nibbling there, though with the long break many pitchers need an outing or two to get their rhythm, location and timing down.

f*** these low class Atlanta assholes with their pathetic chop.

Probably not, but zero doubt in my mind they should.  A slow, poor defensive 1B who is a slightly above league hitter isn’t all that valuable.  And three years of said player may not even fit our timeline.

Vaughn has nothing to learn at AAA. The damage has been done you cant turn back the clock.

That was a bomb

It's almost like not acquiring an actual closer to fill in for our injured/sick closer had horrendous consequences on this season.

I've seen this movie before.

Graveman let him go on that steal without a look.

The crowd is really annoying.

Seby hasn't had achance to throw these guys out. They have such big jumps

It’s always been the case. People give Yaz s%*# but he and Seby have the same CS rate over the last 3 years. Most of the time, Johnny Bench in his prime has no chance.

Actually dive and it's a catch

Ummmm he coulda caught that, no??

Nice play by Tim to get out of it.

Nice to see the other team do stupid s%*# to lose, highlighted by Twin Rosario’s antics in Left field.

All things considered that was one of the better, most complete ballgames of the season.

Love to see that emotion from Graveman

Gotta disagree.  Dude had great plate discipline in college and during his brief stint in the lower minors.  Then he completely skipped AA & AAA (I know he was part of our COVID complex team, but not sure that’s equivalent to those levels) and now is just pretty blah at everything.  He’s barely 25 years old, give him a couple months to work on things in a low pressure environment.  I have seen very little progress from his this year at the major league level.  If this is app he’s going to be then he’s AAA fodder anyways.
