Why can’t they IL Vaughn and bring up someone else? Even if they aren’t on the 40-man, they just opened a spot yesterday.

Your guess is a good as mine.  It’s not like a bone bruise heals quickly, let alone in the foot.  AV should absolutely be on the IL, but I don’t even know who they call up at this point.  Vaughn is no gold glover at 1st, but do we not have anyone in the org better than a washed up catcher to play there every day?

Hey guys, the Sox starter went 6+ innings on Friday....he gave up 9 runs but he went 6+.
