Haber went to Stanford...? Getz and Hahn? Was Sox MLB analytics coordinator for just one year after being an assistant GM with the Nats. Getz noted Mondry-Cohen as recently as last week as one of the guys they hired from outside the org, or without Royals ties. Sam was responsible for analytics and mechanics for hitters, with Rod Larson doing the same with pitchers. Miami offered a permanent officer / VP level promotion. If only Sam watched games with Jerry in the owners box, and pined for the days of David Eckstein. Jerry would never go with an outsider again after the Larry Himes experience. Even one with far better baseball experience and knowledge. Competitively both teams are bad, but Sam is in a better position in Miami, as he can stay as long as he goes along with permanent tanking budgets.
