I thought we just lost Lane Ramsey?

We waived him off of the 40 man roster, but apparently no one claimed him.

Danny Mendick has to be lead candidate for backup IF, right?

Do we think we could get Sosa through waivers?

Didn’t realize he was out of options.

Actually, he’s not. He has 1 left.

DeJong just got put on notice.

Does that list mean Colas didn't even get a ST invite ? NVM he'll be there he's on the 40.

How did he not get a major league deal soewhere?

Definitely the Bryan Shaw of this season...always gets underestimated.

Excellent mentor for the younger guys.

Gordon Beckham would call him the consummate professional if given the opportunity.

Well he'd say he's the definition of a true pro.

Why would he have to make it through waivers?

Yeah that comment had me checking if he has options left. He does.

I'm thinking about 40 man slots. Assuming Pillar and a couple of pitchers are likely candidates to be added, even with the 60 day IL folks it will be tough to make a move without dropping someone.

My guess is that by having a 40 man slot, Sosa is sort of stuck into that role to start the season.
