3/8 Sox @ Guardians

I really admire this 60 win team's ability to field spring line ups almost completely devoid of players under the age of 25.  Explains heir new slogan: "The Kids Can Sit."

Benny and Nicky worked walks to leadoff the first, but were stranded by a LRJ K and Sheets GIDP.

Fedde gave up a leadoff hit to Kwan, immediately erased by a GIDP. Jammed Ramirez for another groundout. Very quick inning, like 6 pitches or so.

Fedde seems to be maintaining his high ground ball/weak contact rates from KBO.

Second inning: Naylor popout, HBP > steal > seeing eye RBI single. A second GIDP ends the inning.

Third inning: Walk, pickoff (commentators compliment the move), two groundouts.

He's done after a pretty efficient 3IP with 1ER, 2H, 1BB, 0K.

The really insist on Gavin Sheets, don't they? Why the f*** wouldn't you just give those 1B innings to Colas this spring? Fucking idiots.

He's already been sent to minor league camp.

Negligible postseason odds while the rest of the division is leaving them behind in the dust.

In the worst division in the game by far...the only team where fans are bereft of any hope.

How is that even possible when you have your own television network to rely upon?

The Madame Web of the AL.

When is it ok to get pissed about the Mena/Fletcher deal?

Annoyed and wondering? Right now. Actually pissed? Let’s at least get regular season numbers on both.

Sheets is actually having a decent spring with his 2 hits today.

OTOH every time I've seen Moustakas bat with guys in scoring position  he's K'd. Twice before with 1 one and today with 2 outs .

He could hit 500/600/800 this spring and I wouldn't reconsider a single thing about him. His numbers are horrific, for a LHB DH, they are almost unfathomably bad.
