July 6, 2025Jul 6 Ravech sounds like he's truly sick of watching Fedde pitch and who can blame him? He is complete s***
July 7, 2025Jul 7 Yeah Fedde has been ROUGH for a good chunk of this year. Sox sold at the right time for sure.
July 7, 2025Jul 7 Author Just cause it's worth mentioning: What a renaissance for Sale after the injured years in Boston. He's finally punching his ticket to Cooperstown. I'm guessing they'll give him a Red Sox hat cause of the World Series, but each chapter is really interesting. Unless he's got 5 more years in him, his longest run (and most sustained success) will have been with the White Sox. Had his most dominant season (2017) and World Series (2018) in Boston, but the increase in velocity those two years laid the groundwork for his injuries. Two All-Star seasons in Atlanta, finally gets the Cy Young.
July 8, 2025Jul 8 Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts could do little to counteract Houston Astros left-handers Bennett Sousa and Bryan King in the seventh and eighth innings of Sunday’s 5-1 loss. Three of Roberts’ four right-handed hitting reserves — Teoscar Hernández, Kiké Hernández and switch-hitter Tommy Edman — were unavailable because of minor injuries, which could force the Dodgers to make a roster move to bolster their bench depth before Monday night’s series opener at Milwaukee. That forced left fielder Michael Conforto, second baseman Hyeseong Kim and catcher Dalton Rushing, all lefties, to bat against Sousa and King, who threw scoreless innings to help the Astros sweep a three-game series in Dodger Stadium for the first time since 2008. yahoo.com/sports
July 10, 2025Jul 10 333 .941 Romy G. Giolito, 6-1, 3.36 ERA Edited July 10, 2025Jul 10 by caulfield12
July 14, 2025Jul 14 Giolito has been dominant his last 5 starts or so. Lowered his ERA to 3.36 and his FIP to 3.69 (nice). Strikeouts are down but he's finally got his walk rate back under control.

July 24, 2025Jul 24 Giolito gave up 5 runs on 4 HR in 4 innings to the Phillies. Fellow former White Sox Romy picked him up with a grand slam off Luzardo.

There are guys who are talented enough to get attention for themselves, and there are the ones who can only do it at someone else's expense. I think we know where Mr Detroit Radio Host falls.
