  • Losing was a lot more fun when you thought they could get a high pick.

Just for the record, I hate this extra innings bullshit.  At least allow one normal inning before you go to this garbage.

Hopefully Shewmake plays well enough to save us from having to watch DeJong

I was thinking this the other day. Former 1st rounder, only 26. Let’s see him play more.

Shewmake already tied with last years SS in HR's

Friendly reminder that spring training shouldn’t be used as an indicator. Soroka is washed.

Nor should your 1st inning of the season.

As a lefty batter I expect Shewmake takes time away from Lopez more than DeJong.

Maybe we will get lucky and he steals a job from one of the veterans and then when Colson comes up, Shewmake plays 2B.

Just got back from my workout. I see we have 3 runs on 3 hits. LETS GO!

Did you just ghost this thread waiting for something positive to happen so you could come throw around some lessons? f*** off buddy.

Really hoping Lee starts tomorrow.

Tigers have had some pretty good BABIP luck from what I can tell.

Me too, I want to see the guys who might have a future here. Not the wizard Maldonado watching strike three right down the middle.

Stone starting to be a little bit of an ass to schriffen lol

No he won’t.

it doesn’t matter if he’s the best pitcher in the league in the first half, no one will believe he can keep it up for 150 innings followed by a playoff run. He probably can’t.

Next year - certainly possible.

Which is exactly what I said yesterday to another guy. You just should've quoted me.

So he is in midseason form.

Shiffren already asking dumbass questions like Jason to Stone. No, you feel less confident with a good catcher? What are we doing here?

Should be really good defensively and did hit 16 homers last year in the minors.. If he could be a great defender and hit 15 homers, he could be a decent piece.

Trying to get his PbP guy to actually participate in the broadcast.

Wow, infield positioning!

There’s been some pretty hard contact so far

You know my thoughts on stone. Dude should have been put out to pasture years ago, but because he's a JR loyalist, he'll have a lifetime gig if he wants.

Shewmake has fantastic hands. I can see why his rep on D is so solid.

The CYA home run call is cringe.  Did he just decide to rip off Michael Kay of the Yankees?

Whatever Moncada did to be good late last season looks like it was lost in the offseason.

Love the 5 AB sample size assessment or is it 4 ?

20th career triple!
