First I’ve turned a game on this year.  Saw two ground outs in about a minute.

Agreed. People can rip on Maldonado’s defense all they want but he’s clearly providing defensive value that Grandal didn’t. Whether or not it shows up in fangraphs I don’t care.

they both suck donkey balls as MLB players and are at the absolute tail end of their careers physically. I don't see any utility in comparing how the each suck in their own special ways.
