$7 million burned in a fire pit ? to go right along with Maldonado and Lopez’s combined $8.8 million.  $15.8 million guaranteed to three players that are DFA candidates.  Getz is terrible at his job.

What an adjustment on offense by subbing in Korey Lee for Maldonado!

Getz really is very bad at his job...but he was bad at his previous job so I guess it's not that much of a surprise.

Back on pace for a 45-117 record.

Typical Sox signing...as soon as they put the uniform on they immediately suck. Culture of losing permeates everything with its stench.

Only 80 more losses to go! Don't stop now boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anytime you can promote someone to major league GM after being over the farm during a failed rebuild, you do it

Seems like if we play we lose. It's automatic now

There is a long list of stars that Gertz developed. Some guy here told us about it.

If Fedde performs well and is traded, and Crochet hits an innings limit, what are the last 2 months going to look like?

That was last year in August. He was s%*# before that but he's taking it a whole new level this year in Miami

that post concussion syndrome is no joke.

LOL. Bassitt mows us down. Actually Sox got 10 hits today, whoopie, but only one run. Still Bassitt five innings, no runs, 7 K's. One huge LOL.

Looking forward to hearing Sheets HR call on the mlb,com replay. Our announcer usually insults us by freaking out in joy despite the big picture hovering over everything. Suddenly the Sox reek at home again to go with the dismalness on the road.

I truly wish baseball would contract the Sox. Mabe we could get an exhibition team or the Rays move to Chicago or something.

Bring back Ozzie chants at GRF.

We have lost our minds as a fanbase.

If the Sox would reduce prices a ton and/or give away free food/drink to the poor fans who attend these games, maybe then the fans wouldn't resort to chanting. That would be funny if Ozzie accepted the job only on the condition they immediately release several of these moribund hitters and pitchers.

You want a prediction about the last 2 months of the season? It's gonna be wet and cold and it's gonna last you the rest of your life.

Saw stat Sox have scored 1 run or fewer in 30% of games and it’s only Memorial Day.

Let's see if the boys can get hot. Start today by improving on the worst record in baseball and trim the Guardians' lead by 4.6% in the Central. Baseball is a funny game; you just never know when a team of has-been's and never-was' may turn it around into a season to remember!

It’s too cool at GRF for that to happen.  Need a temp. At GRF of over 90 degrees to get the boys hot.

Beni has a 37 OPS+ no worries.

I guess it's progress that Vaughn got a hit on that pitch, but that should have been deposited into the bullpen.

Vaughn is a 1B hitting below the Mendoza line with mediocre defense, and no speed.  Another first round failure by the Sox.  IMO.
