the team is down 5-2 and they have us yelling like we should think that luis robert hitting a single against a guy with a 9 ERA is god's gift to us

    Same with Eder...

  • Oh, and one is injured

You add up his and Vargas batting averages with the White Sox, it doesn’t add up to .200. I could be wrong, but the evidence so far suggests, Getz and his lackeys have no idea when it comes to finding

Nice swings this inning!

Skubal is a tad better than that...?

Minor league caliber pitching on the mound for the Sox tonight

I have high hopes for this team to set more historic records. We rule.

Couldn’t do a worse job if you were trying to screw a team over

I said the same in the past.  An average GM, hell, even a terrible GM, would have to try to do this bad of a job…  and they still wouldn’t be as successful at failing as Getz was since he took over last year.

@Lip Man 1 will like this reference…

The Sox may as well form a College of GM’s with fans running the team, like the Cubs did with their College of Coaches in 1961 and 1962.

i'm going off of what we heard about Fedde and Crochet who had comparabile stats at the deadline. We should be grateful we have Vargas and Eder and who fucking ever. Nah I ain't grateful I'm sick of poison.

This is fun.

Not.

14 base runners, 11 outs

Once you get to 100 losses you should be forced to end your season.  No reason to keep playing.  It’s the least MLB could for Sox fans.

Would advantage the Central again to count all those games as forfeits.

With the added benefit of screwing JR out of TV, parking, concessions and ticket revenue.

Feel pretty comfortable with this one...

Crochet and/or Robert getting severely hurt is basically the only remaining thing this season to worry about. All the rest of these guys aren’t major leaguers for the most part.

You are quite the risk-taker, my man…

Don’t you know that Grady’s boys don’t quit?!?

I wish I were a fly on the wall when Getz traded with LA.

LA: What're you gonna do, Getz? Deadline almost here.

Getz: Who do you want?

LA:  Kopech.

Getz: What about Fedde?

LA:  We got him going to Cards for an outfielder for us.

Getz: What do we get?

LA: Vargas. Used to be a great prospect. He'll fit right in with Sox.

Getz: Not enough.

LA:  OK. We'll throw in a couple 19-year-old kids who might be good some day. They're small, but slow. Fit right in with your org.

Getz:  Done. Thanks.

Sizemore probably should've had Varland pitch the 4th instead of Toussaint.

Was this tonight?

It sure seems like the Nats got way more for Lane Thomas than the Sox did for Fedde.

Lesser of two evils...

Vargas is worse than Maldonado now right?

Yes, and he’s making terrible contact

At least Hagen Smith had a good day. 3 IP 2 hits 0 runs, 0 walks, 4 K.

andrew vaughn is a staggering -66.7 runs below average in his 4 years playing "defense".
