Seems like any and all Getz defenders have officially left the building (site).  It’s to the point where it’s almost impossible to defend him at this point.

Vargas is the trade version of the Gonzalez draft pick.  Took a few weeks of action for most to be like “yikes, can we get a mulligan”.

The wait for Keaschall to heal from TJ surgery would have aligned well with how long it will take for the Sox to improve the rest of the team.  But no, Getz couldn’t give the Twins Fedde for next year because he thinks his team will compete for the division next season!

Getz passed on a goddamn 22 year old career .900+ OPS 2B/CF minor league prospect for Vargas.  This is almost as bad as the Mena for Fletcher instead of Jake McCarthy trade.

What a fucking ass clown.  Getz is the shitstain on your kid’s black underwear that you still throw away even after countless washes, just cuz you know it’s still there.
