I only just looked at the highlights on YouTube but all those Domer faces as the game ended, wow.  Does a heart good.

I don't know if I've ever been happier with a college football game, even Mizzou's bowl win last year.

Mods know, but my dad passed away in July (I think the ill wishes against JR got sent to the wrong Jerry). He was an NIU alum, so I pulled for NIU growing up.

He also loathed Notre Dame. He would have been so unbelievably happy. My aunt (also alum) and I were hollering on the phone together. My mom said it made her cry.

Don’t worry, Irish fans. They’ll still be in the playoffs no matter how many games they lose.

I don't actually hate the University itself.   I know some South Bend folks and the place means a lot to them.  But the athletics and fans are a different story.

I was at a travel fall ball game on Saturday late afternoon and it was amazing hearing everyone talk about the final score.  Definitely one of my favorite games in a very long time.

UGA struggling with UK in the fourth.

Wisconsin and Purdue suck.  So does Washington and UCLA.

Jeff Lebby getting embarrassed by Toledo at home in Starkville 38-17.

TN 71-0 over Kent State

Former Sooner Heupel vs. OU as Sooner make SEC debut next week.

Napier done at UF but that buyout is truly ugly.

I have no idea why Kentucky punted down 1 with 3 minutes left at midfield. They deserved to lose just for that despite outplaying Georgia for most of the game.

Indiana is going bowling this year!

Also, when did I miss thanksgiving? This usually happens after Thanksgiving, if at all.

Great game.

I hate being a South Carolina football fan.

As an Illinois alum, I understand. that was tough.

Even better OSU Oregon game...clock management and OPI on J.Smith decided it.

Next week Alabama at TN and elimination game UGA at Texas...

Ofc UGA would be the first to get into a playoff with three losses...

Lincoln Riley, Brent Venables, Sherrone Moore on the hot seats...finally, who's going to stop Iowa State?

Sherrone Moore is not on the hot seat.

If they get run out of the stadium by OSU...who now has to impress every remaining game in terms of playoff positioning?

It's year one of basically a complete rebuild outside of some defenses pieces. Also OSU does not need to impress every single game. There are 12 spots. They are in comfortably as long as they handle their business. Ryan Day is closer to the hot seat than Moore.

Or DeBoer...just no way Bama goes undefeated the rest of the way based on their defense these past two games.

Just hope OSU isn't dumb enough to bring back Urban Meyer.

Seems like Schiffren has been coaching the Miami Louisville announcers...

Iowa State survives to fight another day...had 4th and 10 late and bailed out by pass interference in the RZ.

Trailed 28-14 late against UCF at home...pretty much behind the entire game.

Never thought Indiana at OSU would highlight a CFB weekend...but here we are.

But, with Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan State down, and Michigan still in transition after Jim Harbaugh’s departure, this would seem like an opportunistic window for a Big Ten program to climb the ladder and perch on a higher rung.

Indiana understands Cignetti at least gives it a chance at a winning hand. The Hoosiers doubled his pay by awarding him an eight-year, $72 million contract last week.

By now, nobody needs to Google Cignetti to know, he wins.

That might have been the most interesting Saturday of college football all season.

The A&M/Auburn and OU/Bama games were strangely compelling...

Illinois with one of the best/craziest finishes of the day and Iowa winning with their 5th string emergency QB at the start of the season on the road.

Prime Time got knocked down just a peg or two at Arrowhead...somehow UK on the verge of a bowl after that awful start but just knocked off three Top 20 teams in a row while under .500.

Hail Mary at ASU almost worked after ASU fans rushed the field.

Lincoln Riley held onto his job (maybe) by beating UCLA.

Minnesota almost knocked off that annoying PSU team that's never quite the sum of all it's parts.

Only OSU IND sucked after the wheels came off at end of first half with punter muffing snap in rain.

Fighting fathoms going to do it.
