September 30, 20241 yr If only the manager mattered at all. Your GM and VP of baseball operations is incompetent and can't create a solid big league team.
September 30, 20241 yr Leave Grady Sizemore there. They’re not competing until JR croaks so you might as well let Sizemore gain some experience.

September 30, 20241 yr Sizemore is going to interview just like everyone else. If he comes out of it as the best candidate, great. Like I said I just hope they hire a strong staff to help him thru some of his decision making struggles.

October 1, 20241 yr I actually like Rickie Weeks a lot. The Brewers are sort of mentality monsters when it comes to the National League. When it comes to the business end of the season, they know how to put long sustained runs together. Would love for that to become a part of the White Sox culture.

Pat Murphy really should be MoY…if it’s not the Mets’ guy. Or Schildt/SD. Edited October 1, 20241 yr by caulfield12

Feel as though we are getting insight into a real misreading of who was responsible for the Brewers success. Agree though. Most wrote them off for dead and they more or less won the division by June.
October 1, 20241 yr I had no idea that Clayton McCullough hadn't played in the MLB. No thanks. I want someone who was at least a semi-successful former MLB player if they aren't hiring a former MLB manager

October 3, 20241 yr Just have a "manager by committee" structure. Keep Grady as the bench coach, but each player gets a 1-week rotation as the manager-of-the-week. After all, supreme executive power comes from the mandate of the masses.

None of the in-game managing stuff matters right now. Have Getz do the roster and let celebrity managers work with Grady on the day to day lineup, etc.
