I wonder that as well. 31% for KC seems odd to me.

Regression from Perez.

No major moves, really, this offseason…Wacha and Lugo prime candidates to regress, and India move a bit of a head-scratcher as it weakens the back end of that rotation.  Ragans can hold up how long after two TJS?

What do they have past their Top 4-5 hitters?

Weak farm system, Caglianone looks to be at least two years away and not much else to get excited about.

I'm at rock bottom with Bulls and Sox fandom. It's sad. I have no excitement. I haven't even pulled up the Pitchers and Catchers count down yet this February.

I'm right there with you. Spring training starts on the 12th and there is literally no hope. Zero.

Not expecting to see Schultz and Smith this year much doesn’t help.

Law has taken a lot of the joy out of Colson hype, lol.

Catchers like Teel/Quero are usually more complementary parts of a team.

We might be the least exciting team with a top farm system in recent memory…still lacking that franchise-defining superstar.

Our starting rotation might be the least exciting in baseball, Burke the most interesting there.

Bullpen could be the worst in baseball history…except randomness.

I'd be right with you, but since I'm in NC i'm going to try to find a silver lining and catch more minor league games and check out the prospects the next couple (few?) (several?) years.

To be fair, Colson's 2024 has taken a lot of joy out of the Colson hype

Agreed. At least I follow the bills so it was a decent football season

“Probably not” is not a mathematical singularity. Although the physical denseness of a White Sox roster is in essence, an infinitely dense object approaching a physics singularity.  But this publication has gone beyond and proven an actual singularity in both senses. This is impressive.

That is a very well thought out and cogent response. Thank you. But I hate the Twins so I'm going to disagree.

Hard to hate the Twins right now unless they somehow end up with Cohen-like ownership and that stadium will never be the home field advantage that the HHH MetroDOOM was in the past.  Nightmares still of guys like Hunter J.Jones Denny Hocking and Blanco.

With a tv deal generating under $10 million compared to $67-72 million previously...maybe if they weren't classified as a large market team and getting an additional $75-100 million from the league like the Pirates or A's.

They were only at $277 million in Forbes revenues...right there with the A's at the bottom.

Obviously season tickets and corporate sponsorships/promotional partners must be way way down...so the only offset is the national media contract split and controlling all their own parking concessions souvenirs, especially Sox hat sales around the world.

Can you imagine being a Sox sales person calling potential customers about season tickets? I'd imagine the recipients of the calls are rather direct/mean to the sales people. I'd be like, "Are you serious? Season tickets?" I assume their selling point is getting to see the other teams' players while getting to know future Sox stars as they are called up to the bigs. Can you imagine paying to see this pitching staff in action? This bullpen? And finally this lineup? WOW. The Sox should offer something in addition to baseball. Maybe the price of a ticket allows you to take batting practice.

Might be able to improve the offensive fWAR if they started signing guys off the street...Mark Wahlberg could star in the baseball version of "Invincible".

Haha, I’d look for new employment immediately.  Losing commission and getting told to F off on a daily basis would not be a fun or lucrative job.

Not even sure Venable could sell many tickets if he made these calls personally.

Too early...needs to establish more credibility with fans.

It's easy if you try.

I don’t know.  Looking at these predictions and the Sox sitting at 0%, I think a lot of people are underestimating just how big of a move the Austin Slater signing was…

I think my only estimation of any of it was in the first couple hours when I thought it was Austin Hays instead of Slater.  After that there was no estimation left, under or over

The Sox signed their RF platoon of Tauchman and Slater for a combined $3.7 million.  I think I’d rather have Hays alone for $5 million, as I think he would have been a better flip candidate.

That's how I feel when I said I'd rather have Jorge Polanco over Rojas. More money but some potential to hit some dingers for a team looking for a 2B or 3B in the summer. Although, if he is healthy or not at that point is another question regarding him.
