He even tried to spin the Maldonado signing. Hes drunk on the Getz Kool aid.

This isn't you criticizing the state of the franchise. This is you being pissy because I choose to think for myself, instead of parroting the same things you and your little buddy keep repeating to impress each other.

I really want you to complain about the state of the franchise. Do you understand that sentence? I fully support you in doing that. Let me know when you're going to start. Telling me that you find me rooting for a minor leaguer to aspire to being a 4th OF in the bigs to be hilarious isn't you complaining about the state of the franchise. It's you making up things to impress people whose opinions mean so much to you.

So please, guy who paid for Jerry Reinsdorf's last $80k pair of shoes, please, please, please complain about the state of the franchise. I promise I will click on "thank you" emojis when you do it, just to show you how much I want you to actually complain about the state of the franchise, and not just whine that everybody else isn't as miserable as you are.

If you only were half as smart as you think. Root for minor leaguers. I hope the guy is a star, but again, with these guys, it isn’t going to happen. Instead of being blind, get a clue. Learn from what you have seen. It’s history repeating itself. When the Powerball gets to a billion, I buy a ticket. It’s a waste of money. Some people buys hundreds of dollars of tickets. That’s what you are with this regime.

There is a difference between hoping for the best for a guy in the White Sox’s system and being over the top positive  because you cant acknowledge that the GM did a bad job in his trade.

Is saying that I'd like him to aspire to be a 4th OF "over the top positive"? Why would I acknowledge a trade is bad when I don't think it was a bad trade? What you're describing is group think. The guy who paid for Michael Reinsdorf's first year and a half at George Washington University and his little Mini-Me don't seem to be able to break out of that.

Acknowledged. Have you seen the young man play?

Like I said, can’t allow statements that make the GM look bad.

Why do you seem to think that this is some sort of burn or something?  You could say the same thing about every Sox fan that attends games.  Unlike you, Dick Allen recognized complete and utter failure and decided to stop supporting a terrible team and its owner.

And I'm sure he decided to stop helping that Nigerian General get those millions of dollars in gold bars out of the country once his bank account had been emptied. LOL.

I haven't seen Zavala play. I've seen some highlights on Twitter. I've read that he's a CF until he's not.

I'm not sure why these guys get so put out when I won't "think for myself" and parrot their tired, old memes.

It’s been over 30 years, so….I know you think you sound clever, but you don’t. And again, I don’t regret any dime I have spent on the White Sox. Nor has it put me in debt, or make me retire later.

Yep, that’s Getz’s only bad move thus far.  You nailed it.

We've just had a full convo about his trades. You consider a swap of AAA bullpen arms to be a catastrophically bad trade, for some reason. Sorry I can't "think for myself" and say the exact words you need me to say about Getz. LOL.

Can’t wait to see you at Zanies. Well, maybe not. You’re the White Sox of comedians.

So, you mean I have thousands of ex-fans who have given me $80,000 of their money, and spend their days complaining about me online?

No, which is why I have zero opinions on his ability to play CF. I can give statements about it his offense based on his statistics, but those don’t extend to minor league defense.

I just went to my first game since COVID hit. My wife and I bought nachos, and nothing else. I don't think we spent $40.

Am I not "thinking for myself" enough to be in line with what you want me to think? LOL. Dude, this entire brou-ha-ha is over me saying that my understanding from what I have read is that Samuel Zavala is still considered a CF. And you and Tattoo are this bent out of shape because I won't "think for myself" and parrot what you guys are saying.

I will reiterate, I want you to criticize the White Sox. Please do it as much as time allows. I will even give you "thank you" emojis. Criticize Chris Getz as much as you can. I want that to happen.

No. He posted a 140 wRC+ in Low-A with San Diego prior to a promotion. Sox sent him to High-A as they should've. He struggled to hit but he walked at an 18% clip in High-A as a 19-year-old. He's definitely still a prospect.

If he was ready for the level at 19, then his performance is important.  The only way his age being an excuse matters is if he wasn't ready and played there anyway

I just wanna give a shout out to the “HOT!” tag that shows up on some threads for helping identify which ones currently have bickering, and thus which ones to avoid.
