He certainly had some time to study the Royals, which is basically a case of being in the right place at the right time to draft Witt, Jr., and spending more than anyone in the division last off season on Wacha/Lugo as well as making the Ragans/A.Chapman trade. Given what we know about him, I'm guessing he struggles for a portion of the year and plays like 100 games or less.
