Are we allowed some good things this season?

It's gonna be half and half. The Bats in the system will be great this year but the pitching will either struggle or suffer (more) injuries. We can't ever have both working.

I know a team needs both to be working to win, but if I had to choose I'd rather have the bats working. Don't get me wrong, I love great pitching, but if they are going to lose, I'd rather it be them scoring 5-plus runs a game than 0-2 runs.

Fun game - first time at a minor league game down here. M & M boys looked great defensively and made some good plays.

Chase has a great eye.

I think Elko should be higher up in the order above Deloach and Dalbec

Got tix for Kanny opener. Its a bit closer for me and less of a hassle than going to uptown so prob will spend more time there - i like the OF prospects

If both Quero and Teal can hit, and it looks like they can,  I would think that both need to be in the lineup when the Sox are ready to win.  Moving off of C might depreciate some value, but it's still more value than sitting, especially as hitting-starved as MLB is.

Probably share catcher and DH. Full time catching takes 5 years off a career.

@BamaDoc - I wasn’t trying to steal your thunder, but realized the Knights were playing yesterday and figured it was worth starting a thread in case you were tied up.

No thunder stolen, don’t have any. Appreciate you starting it. Long season, everyone is welcome to help here.

And Chase was out there throwing some serious leather.

He’s not going to be the rangiest player and he doesn’t have a great arm, but he profiles very well at 2B from what I have seen and read.  And I heard his minor league teammates absolutely loved when he was the field behind them FWIW.
