I think Vaughn lasts until the end of the season and his inevitable non-tender.  I can't see them eating his $5.85 million salary.  And it will probably be someone other than Vargas as well.

I honestly think they don't want to call him up yet.  He's just turned 22 last week.  I would not be at all surprised if Teel is called up first and Quero isn't called up until next year.  Getz is going to milk service time as much as possible.  He has no money to spend and he needs to milk that 6th year of service time for everyone.

Agree this is last season with the team non tendered easy decision.

Quero has to be on the 40 man before next year’s Rule 5. I think he beats Teel to the majors.
