Although I would have enjoyed watching Luis get on a heater somewhere else and carry a team further than they deserved to go -- since I watch other teams play much more than the Sox these days.

They want to trade him. Regardless, I can’t imagine Houser wouldn’t just wait for free agency rather than accept what would likely be a team friendly extension offer from the Sox.
